Well, the fun and frolics of the holidays are now behind us. Grace went back to school today, I had to pop in for a few hours for the Inset Day, and Ruth and I are properly back tomorrow. Normally I feel ok about going to back to school but we have had such a lovely couple of weeks, but they didn't feel long enough, and I could quite happily have another 2 weeks off to potter around with my little family.
Ho hum, needs must and all that. The Summer Term is my favourite and we have new topics, new trips and hopefully sunshine for playtimes, so it isn't that bad really!
I had my second stall at the Bath Road Market on Saturday which went really well again. It was busy in the morning, but then tailed off a bit in the afternoon, but that was fine as I had the chance to chat and eat cake with my lovely friend Stacey who came to help out (the paella and cake were the draw for her I think), and still made lots of sales in the busier bits. An all round successful and fun day. Lots of other friends popped in to say hi, and I met some lovely new people too. There are definitely worse ways to spend a day, and I had a large tin of money to take home at the end of it!!
My next fair is May 5th, when my fabulous sister is coming down especially to help as she had so much fun the last time. I am so lucky to have so much support, encouragement and enthusiasm from friends and family.
So, I'm really back into it, and have listed a few more things in my Etsy Shop, including these adorable little dogs! There's more to come too, so watch this space!!
I hope you've all eased back into the new term ok and have happy holiday memories to keep you going until Half Term!!
