I've taken a slightly longer break than planned from blogging - but I'm back! The last week of term was crazy busy, and time ran away with me. I don't know why everything seems to happen at once. I did decorate for Easter, but forgot to take any photos but looks pretty much the same as last year and the year before - I like to create traditions for these things. Same goes for Christmas and birthdays. I'm a creature of habit.
On the last day of term we headed up to one of our favourite spots for a week in a cottage. Northumberland is one of the most beautiful places - full of castles,
sun,
beaches,
snow,
happy dogs,
happy children,
and copious pubs for lunch, cafes for hot chocolate, a cosy cottage for cosy evenings, and the opportunity to just chill.
Easter weekend was spent with family on the way home, and then the girls stayed with their grandparents for a couple of days while Andy went back to work and I started getting organised for my second stall at the Bath Road Market, which is this Saturday. Eek.
The last fair was a great success and a fun day out. I'm sad to be losing my sidekick and seller extraordinaire - my sister, but several friends have offered to come and help out, keep me company, and let me buy them cake as thanks!! The Thai food for lunch was a draw for a couple too! If you are in the area please pop in and say hi. You could even join me for a piece of cake from the cake stall - my diet starts on Monday when I go back to school, so I will be making the most of it while I can!!
